Just had shoulder surgery

Just had shoulder surgery..I was able to cut the pain meds after 6 days which made me feel much better. Praise the Lord, I have had no pain at all. I am sleeping through the night and we are both coping at work. Thank you for your prayers.

I plucked up enough courage to pray for her!

'Ascribe greatness to our God the Rock, His word is perfect and all His ways are just'... He is amazing. One of my staff members has a severe shoulder injury which is 'incurable'. She had a particularly bad day yesterday and I finally plucked up courage to pray for her, which she was v grateful for. Normally on such a day she would need a strong painkiller to get her thru the evening + wake w pain thru the night despite it. Her pain was gone by the time she got home, she dozed off and still managed a good nights sleep overnight, NO PAIN RELIEF and her range of movement is better too. WOW! I am gobsmacked at how he is building my faith and my ability to listen and hear Him (Not too good at that yet tho!), and that He can use 'even me'... He is so faithful, Awesome God!

It was an amazing week

It was an amazing week. We talk about creating a Kingdom environment in in business on purpose, Well the building in King Street is all about that. In the last few weeks we have seen God at Work,not only bringing success to businesses but salvation to those who work with us.One of the tenants came into my office and said I feel something in your office,my response was,God dwells here, an hour later I led him to the Lord,how good is that. Believe the Word

.Wow that verse has everything in it(devotion for today)Recently at church ,entering into Gods prescence Jesus impressed on me to lean back onto him.He pointed to the horizon._If you can see the future, you can change the future,as you see the future._God has answered our prayers.Not 3 inches of rain ,but 3 times 3.A God of abundance.And he has given us strategies too.

Prayer is the key

One of the issues we prayed for was tenants for our BE Centre,since that prayer we have had two new people commit to office space,we are turning a larger office into two more rentable . Also contacts in Florida have confirmed words God gave them while Phil and I were there have come to pass.It is the time for signs wonders and miracles to be seen,Making God more visible.

Salvation is a miracle

We have been studying bible in Japanese every Thursday night at our home. One Japanese lady, who study English here, have joined our bible study then we have been praying for her to know more Jesus and accepted him. Thank you Lord, she accepted Jesus few weeks ago and was baptized yesterday. I think salvation is one of his miracle....

5 years as part of BE It's awesome

I've realised that is coming up to five years since we joined Business Edge. What a unique and special group of people - just doing life. I so appreciate following and sharing your various trials and triumphs, highs and lows. As a fellow traveller it is so clear that it is only the Lord who makes the paths straight - in His time! I have taken to heart a word (image)that Phil gave me at the last BE prayer session. Simple and profound. A ship's lantern outside our business door. Salt and light. God is out of the box!

We have had significant answers to prayer in the last 2 weeks, so I prayed that what God had done for me, He would do for our daughter, God has blessed them with a house deal that is out of the ordinary. We praise God for His wonderful blessing for them, we are praying that they will see Gods hand in all this and that it will be a seed that will blossom in the family

Our prayer was multiplied

We asked for prayer to see a bulk order of our book "How To Stop Your Kids From Going Broke" to someone. (I had in my mind around 100 would be amazing, so we could move some existing stock) - we have received an order for 750! Yay - praise the Lord. I am also receiving requests for speaking engagements. Am starting a six week course teaching financial literacy this Thursday evening.

It was a wonderful feeling ringing Clarkie on the morning of the meeting with this organisation to say please pray and knowing that God was going before us!

The Power of kindness and Care

I just wanted to say, never underestimate the power of kindness and care of one another. I'm so grateful to God that He has the ears of Denis and Coralie and they have been obedient in all they do with Business Edge. I am so blessed by their unbelievable unconditional friendship and belief in me, their encouragement has given me so such courage. Rapid healing

Last week when I fell of a ladder, I badly sprained my wrist and ended up on crutches with a knee that wouldn't work- badly sprained pulled ligaments etc. On Friday we had lunch with Clarkie and he prayed simply for rapid healing and recovery. When I got back to work shortly after, I realised I actually wasn't really putting weight on my crutches as before lunch, so I threw them off and ended up for the rest of day working in the factory shifting boxes and assisting dispatches as we were missing 2 staff

We have a recession proof God!

: How great is the love of the Lord! He has lavished his all upon us. Not only are we sons and daughters, but heirs and friends as well! Thanks so much for your ongoing prayers for us. Business is humming. A supplier commented that I am in a recession proof business; the reality is we BE ers have a recession proof God. Some like me have been blessed with as much work as ever, and it's rewarding and significant, with great relationships building. I am aware that others are hurting, but still doing a significant job and building great relationships also. We know that even if times are tough God has a longer term purpose and plan for the good. I want to declare that God is fully able to sustain us in ALL circumstances. Join with me in giving Him due praise! My one request is that I would be open to seeing and taking the mentoring and sharing/witnessing opportunities He pops up. Bless you all

Awesome blessing to have obvious support

It was awesome to have email and a phone call on our prayer day from other Business Edge members encouraging and prophesying over us and our business. Not only that we have had amazing answers to prayers directly after our Business Edge prayer day in the way of a house sale and business contracts basically appearing from nowhere. Great Book

Wow am reading that book on God at Work! Am so encouraged that this is exactly what we've been doing, as we have been led by the Lord to do, also the homeschooling of our 4 kids, but I had always believed, Church Ministry was superior to this. What a blessing to understand that what we're doing,glorifying God thru our business and lifestyle is what we're called to do.

Whoa!! What a night huh! By the time I arrived home I was so overcome with the most incredible feeling and unashamedly cried a pool of gratitude, truly I feel so blessed to have been a part of this fantastic event.

Found my purpose

God answers BE prayer in Seattle

Prayer Request: We are working towards a Collector Car Auction happening on Saturday 13th May. We have blown our marketing budget on this event, and now need God's blessing to bring buyers and sellers together for a memorable and profitable day. Thank you Business Edge members for your crucial prayer support.
Paul phoned today(15th NZ time) to report that the auction was awesome.
The night before they had a charity auction and raised US$5000.
The Collector Car Auction quadrupled last years auction results,they were so excited they had to tell us all here in NZ.(God is so Good)

God answered a prayer this week, I needed some money to finance three new paintings that I was preparing, it was going to cost $600 and I thought that I should really wait until a painting sold, but I was challenged to ask God to sell a painting. And that afternoon I got a message that the gallery had sold a painting for $2000! And then later that week another painting sold for $1600. I was amused at God???????s great sense of humor (or cheekiness), he has blessed me, blessed the work of my hands. He is great. Hope this makes you smile.
