Hope you had a fantastic Easter weekend, full of fun, food, family and even a bit of sunshine thrown in for good measure! Most importantly though, I hope you managed to make the effort to spend some time reflecting on the reason why we celebrate this event and the great sacrifice that was made for us! We are truly blessed!

With another short week ahead, I’ve been thinking about all the things that I have to do, and the relatively short amount of time I have to do them in!

Moses said to God, ‘Why have You…laid the burden of all these people on me’ (Numbers 11:11 NKJV)? God replied, ‘…Gather to Me seventy men…I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them…that you may not bear it yourself alone’ (Numbers 11:16-17 NKJV).

Often in positions of leadership and responsibility, we can be bombarded with the urgent & the important, and more often than not, we will always have more that is demanded from us, than we are able to give.

One of the ways we can deal with this is by firstly identifying our God-given strengths, then we can delegate the rest to those who have strengths in our areas of weakness.

I believe there are things that we are responsible for that we will never be good at – so we need to learn to give those to others (those who are good at them!). This can often be much more difficult than we anticipate – why? Pride. We don’t want to admit it when we’re struggling with something, when we often have good people around us who are ready to step up & take responsibility when we give it to them.

I pray that this week – we are all able to use our stengths effectively and delegate those other tasks, with humility, to those who are gifted in achieving them.

Have a great week ahead & may God bless you richly and expand your borders as you seek Him first!

Blessings
